Recommended Books!

Reading is an incredible multiplier, and a fantastic way to learn from what others have done so you can implement their successes in your life. Each of the books below I have read and taken something away from, whether a mindset shift or practical daily/weekly activities. Combining portions of each book has been a huge multiplier for me and my business, and can be for you too!

The Slight Edge

The difference between success and failure is not a massive action, but small actions taken consistently with discipline to help you achieve your goals. Rereading this book in 2018 is what opened up the floodgates for productivity and reading, and I haven't looked back!

The 12 Week Year

This book, coupled with The Slight Edge and the Miracle Morning, have been lifechanging and are incorporated into my daily and weekly routine. Use Parkinson's Law to your advantage by shortening your "year", with specific goals and tasks to accomplish each week. Read this book

The Miracle Morning

Author Hal Elrod identified the most powerful catalysts that successful people use and combined them into a daily routine that you can tailor. By meditating, reading, writing, visualizing, exercising, and speaking affirmations on a daily basis, I've found my level of focus and intention increase significantly (and I notice it lessen on the days I don't!)

High Performance Habits

Seek clarity, generate energy, raise necessity, increase productivity, develop influence, and demonstrate courage. Master these 6 habits, or just make progress in each, and you can see great improvement in your daily activity and in reaching your goals

The 4 Disciplines of Execution

Getting down to the nitty gritty in some parts, this book offers incredible insight and executable strategies that you can implement in your business, at work, and on personal goals. Identify your Wildly Important Goals, set your Lead and Lag indicators, combine it with your Miracle Morning, and incorporate it into your 12 Week Year. If you want a book centered on practical execution to increase productivity, this is it

Be Obsessed or Be Average

Dream big. Be obsessed. Love him or hate him, Grant Cardone kicks ass in this book and motivates you to look inside of yourself to figure out what you want and then achieve it. Don't settle, strive for greatness. Like much of Grant's content, it can rub you the wrong way at times...but then you start asking why it makes you uncomfortable and find you need to break out of your comfort zone. Couldn't put this one down

The Power of Habit

Habits are incredibly powerful, and the ability to gain mastery over some of the most critical will help you in so many ways. This books talks about the psychology around the three elements of a habit - the cue, the routine, and the reward - and how by understanding them you can improve your life.

The Richest Man in Babylon

This book is a timeless look at the principles of financial literacy, and I think there'd be great value in making this a must read as a part of school curriculum. The principles are taught through short parables in ancient Babylon, teaching about business and managing finance. Everyone should read this book.
